AWARDS AND MENTIONS

Art has been a part of me since childhood, like an essential breath. My career as a visual arts teacher was a true catalyst for personal growth and an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

My practice is part of a contemporary approach to organic abstraction, at the crossroads of intuitive gesture and a sensitive search for matter.

My source of inspiration is nature—more specifically, those landscapes where ocean and sky intertwine, merge, and become metaphors for the human soul. My works explore inner landscapes as spaces of transformation, memory, and passage. These shifting spaces, sometimes peaceful, sometimes turbulent, reflect the flow of life: they stir, evaporate, and ignite. Movement is omnipresent, carrying energy and vitality.

Using mixed media (acrylic, pigments, collage, printing techniques, and textures), my works are built up through accumulation, erasure, and revelation. My process is based on a slow construction, allowing room for chance, transformation, and the emergence of unexpected structures reminiscent of natural formations or landscapes yet to be invented.
